Dark Skies is an up-coming for the UK Sci-Fi Horror film. It features an alien abduction element to it's story and covers all the very strange events up to a close encounter of the creepy kind.

It has already screened in the US and has received mixed but favourable reviews so far. It stars Keri Russel, Josh Hamilton and Dakota Goyo. The story follows the Barrett family as they experience a spiral of strange and mysterious events. In UK cinemas 5th May 2013.

It is similar to Close Encounters of the Third Kind but with more sinister extraterrestrial element. The Film has been written and directed by Scott Stewart who's previous films include "Legion" and "Priest".
From the producer of Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and Sinister comes Dark Skies: a supernatural thriller about a young family living in the suburbs. Daniel and Lacey Barret and their two young sons witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family. Unable to understand what is happening to them their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels and friends turn against them.
When it becomes clear they are being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to uncover the truth and protect what belongs to them.
